An American Heritage Thanksgiving
Saturday, November 12, 1:00-3:00 pm
Join Chef Mark Williams, Slow Food USA Southern regional governor, for a fun, interactive cooking and tasting event. Chef Mark and attendees will explore the roots and customs of the traditional American thanksgiving meal, with samples of historic and heirloom recipes to taste. We will also be joined by a Bourbon Red turkey farmer Kathy Wheeler who will discuss the fall harvest and raising heirloom food. The cost for the class is $25.00 per person for Friends of Locust Grove and Slow Food members, $30.00 for everyone else. Class size is limited, for reservations please call 502-897-9845.
