TEDx Manhattan has SOLD OUT! What a great day for the local food movement in Louisville, KY.
We are so excited that 450 people have pre-registered for this amazing event. Saturday will be a day of food, fun and facts about what is happening on an international, national and local level with regards to the local food movement.
On a local level, Mayor Greg Fischer will present his, “State of Local Foods”, address after the first session of the event in Manhattan breaks for the morning. Then attendees in Louisville will have a chance to gather at six different breakout sessions to discuss what is happening on a local level with regards to Education, Access, Distribution, Retail, Restaurants and Farming. Each breakout will have a host and co-host for a lively discussion on each choosen topic.
There will be more of the programing from Manhattan, after lunch, along with the sharing of ideas generated during each local breakout session.
We are looking forward to a great day of ideas shared together around Changing the Way We Eat!
